Get Help

We run a number of projects to help prevent crises from happening, read below if you’d like to know more about how you can make the most of them.

Foodbank

We know that anyone can reach crisis point and we're here to help when that happens. If you’re unable to buy food, no matter what has caused the crisis, we can help.

We work with a long list of local organisations as referral partners including schools, support workers, housing organisations, health teams (including doctors surgeries) and many more. If you’re not sure who to speak to for a referral you can call into Ammanford Hŵb on Quay Street and they’ll be able to refer you.

Foodbank is open every Friday 10am - 12 noon in Y Llusern, Wind Street, Ammanford SA18 3DR or if you are referred before Friday, you can arrange for your parcel to be collected from Tairgwaith Community Hall between 1130am & 1pm

A walk-through of our Foodbank - what to expect when you come through the doors.

Help Centre

Open to anyone, regardless of circumstances, we want to help you maintain control over your life and well-being. You’re welcome to drop in to any of our centres and speak with a member of the team about whatever is causing you concern.

Our purpose is to listen to the help you need as well as making sure you’re aware of all the other support you’re entitled to - often more than you think! We work at a pace that suits you, either one visit or multiple, to complete the work. Our support is always free & totally confidential.
